Zee MACRO Shop and Death Rules

What to buy, what to refill, and what you lose when you go down.

Shop, Ammo, and Death

Codes get you a wallet. The shop turns that wallet into a fight. Death taxes the fight. If you skip this loop, getting started feels finished and then the first down sends you back to fists. Read this next to the weapon tier list and the loadouts page.

Find a vendor, not a skin window

After spawn, walk until you see a gun shop, a street vendor, or the copy’s buy menu. Copies share the Da Hood shop habit more than they share one map. If you cannot find a counter in thirty seconds, you spawned in a fight lobby — hop or follow the gunfire away from the chest, then circle back.

Do not open cosmetics first. A hat does not peek a doorway. The how to win fights page assumes you already have a primary that can end a duel.

Buy order that survives a death

  1. Redeem the chest so you are not punching an ATM for the starter gun.
  2. Buy Double Barrel or Revolver — those are the S-tier pair on live MACRO streets.
  3. Buy the matching ammo on the same trip. A shotgun with six shells is a reload in the open.
  4. One heal or food if the shop sells it.
  5. Keep Katana! if the code landed. Do not buy a second melee.

If NEW! paid a huge stack, fill ammo for both S-tier guns only after you can control one of them. Two empty primaries is how you die swapping.

Ammo is the real tax

MACRO fights burn shells. Players who “save ammo” by never shooting also never learn the brake. Players who dump both barrels every peek go broke on the next corner. Buy a refill whenever you pass a shop you already learned. The cash guide is for when the code stack is gone; this page is for not wasting the stack on a rifle you cannot track.

Console and mobile players should still buy the same two guns. The platform guide changes the fingers, not the shop.

What death usually drops

On typical hood rules used by Zee MACRO / Zee Hood copies:

  • Guns drop. Expect to walk back to a shop after a down.
  • Cash usually stays. That is why a fat wallet matters more than one lucky shotgun.
  • Ammo in the gun is gone with the gun. Spare ammo in the inventory may or may not persist — assume you need a refill.
  • Katana behaves like a weapon. If it drops, redeem was not a permanent unlock on that copy.

If a clone keeps weapons on death, enjoy it, but do not build a habit that fails on the next title. The latest notes will mention a HUD change if we confirm one. Until then, play as if death sells your gun back to the street.

After you die

  1. Do not sprint the same lane that killed you.
  2. Buy the same primary first. Switching guns every death is how you never learn recoil.
  3. Refill ammo before you take a revenge peek.
  4. If a camper owns the only shop you know, use a second vendor or an ATM street from the cash guide.
  5. If the server is a 25-player blender, hop. Learning the shop on a quieter MACRO copy is allowed.

Crews treat your death as a farm. Solo players should treat a three-stack on a shop door as weather. Leave.

What not to buy on the first wallet

  • Skins, hair, and particle hats that clip the MACRO zoom.
  • A third gun “for the collection.”
  • A spray rifle because a video used it on Da Hood, not on this street.
  • Anything a stranger in chat calls a “limited shop code.” Codes are the chest strings, not a whisper.

Pair this with settings

A readable shop trip needs Low GFX so you can see the counter. A readable death walk needs the same. If the camera slams every time you hold X, fix FOV before you blame the Double Barrel.

This page is the economy of one life. The join guide is how you got here. The fight guide is what you do with the gun you just bought. Do not skip the refill.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers for the questions Zee MACRO players ask first.

Do I lose my gun when I die in Zee MACRO?

On typical hood copies, yes — weapons drop. Cash usually stays, which is why you rebuy the same kit.

What should I buy first?

Double Barrel or Revolver plus matching ammo. Redeem codes before you grind an ATM for the starter gun.

Does Katana! stay after death?

Treat it like a weapon. If it drops, the code was a grant, not a permanent unlock on that place.

Why am I broke after one fight?

You bought a gun without ammo, or you never refilled. Pass a shop you already know before the next peek.
